Precautions

This medication can cause severe harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during pregnancy, especially during the second and third trimesters, so it must be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with allergies to this medication or any of its ingredients, patients with severely impaired kidney function, patients with severe liver impairment, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, and patients with certain electrolyte imbalances should not take this medication. Patients with dangerously low blood pressure or problems with renal blood vessels, patients with liver impairment or a history of liver disease, diabetic patients, the elderly, and patients with a history of skin cancer should use this medication with caution and require regular check-ups. This medication lowers blood pressure but may cause dizziness or drowsiness, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Regular blood tests are important because this medication can cause an increase or decrease in blood potassium levels, and it should not be taken with potassium supplements or other medications containing potassium. This medication can affect liver or kidney function, so if there are any related diseases or suspicions, a consultation with a physician is required. The hydrochlorothiazide component can cause electrolyte imbalances, dehydration, increased blood sugar, skin reactions, and in rare cases, severe skin conditions, so any abnormal symptoms must be reported to a doctor immediately. During treatment, be careful to avoid excessive sun exposure, and consult medical personnel if there are any skin abnormalities. Do not change the dosage arbitrarily or discontinue suddenly; maintain consistent use according to the physician's instructions. Pregnant or nursing women must consult a doctor before taking this medication, and if nursing, consider discontinuing either the medication or breastfeeding.
