This medication is used to treat dermatophyte infections caused by various fungi including Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton, such as athlete's foot, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis. It is also effective against tinea versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare and skin candidiasis. This broad range of antifungal infections can help improve skin conditions.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply to the affected area (the site of the disease) 1 to 2 times a day. 1. Athlete's foot: once daily for 1 week. Interdigital athlete's foot: twice daily for 1 week. Plantar athlete's foot: twice daily for 2 weeks. 2. Tinea corporis, tinea cruris: 1 to 2 weeks. 3. Skin candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks. 4. Tinea versicolor: 2 weeks. If clinical symptoms do not improve after the treatment period, a re-evaluation of diagnosis is needed.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this medication or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions to it. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant and breastfeeding women are also advised not to use this medication. Additionally, it should not be used in children. If allergic reactions such as rash occur while using this medication, stop using it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
