View approved original text

This medication supplements vitamins, minerals, and trace elements needed for women before, during, and after pregnancy. It particularly helps prevent fetal neural tube defects and prevents iron deficiency anemia and folic acid deficiency anemia that may occur during pregnancy. Therefore, it effectively provides essential nutrients for a healthy pregnancy and fetal development, protecting the health of both the mother and the baby.

How to take

Adult dose

1 tablet once daily with breakfast or as directed by a physician. If experiencing morning sickness, taking it at noon or in the evening is recommended. To prevent fetal neural tube defects, start taking it at least 1 month before planning for pregnancy. If not pregnant, after 2 to 3 months, the dosage can be reduced to half, taking 1/2 tablet once daily or 1 tablet every 2 days.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals allergic to its components. Also, if other medications containing vitamin A or vitamin D are already being taken, this medication should not be used concurrently. Patients who have excessive accumulation of vitamin A or vitamin D in their bodies should not use this medication. Patients with kidney function problems or those with iron utilization disorders should not use this medication. Caution is needed when taking this medication if there is elevated calcium concentration in the blood or excessive calcium excretion in urine. Additionally, as this medication contains lactose, individuals with lactose intolerance or specific metabolic disorders should not take it. If tetracycline antibiotics are being taken, the timing of administration should be spaced out by more than 2 hours, as they can affect iron absorption. Individuals taking antiepileptic or anticonvulsant medications should consult a professional, as the high dosage of folic acid in this medication may reduce the effectiveness of their medications. During pregnancy and lactation, the vitamins and minerals included in this medication are adjusted to safe levels and can be taken. However, excessive intake of vitamin A can increase the risk of fetal malformations, so care should be taken to ensure that daily intake does not exceed 10,000 IU early in pregnancy. While taking this medication, rare allergic reactions, headaches, digestive discomfort, skin rashes, etc., may occur, so if symptoms are severe, consult a professional. Stool color may darken or urine may turn yellow after taking this medication; this is due to the iron and vitamin B2 contained in it and does not cause significant health problems. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and stored in a cool, dry place. Moreover, do not take products that have exceeded their expiration date, and it is advisable not to transfer them to another container.
