How to take

Adult dose

Adults: 2g per dose, taken three times a day (4g for the first dose).

Child dose

Children: 1g per dose, taken three times a day.

Precautions

This medication can be used together with other antibiotics; however, it is advisable not to use it with ciprofloxacin, imipenem, or cilastatin. Patients receiving treatment from a physician should use this medication cautiously.
