Cardiovascular symptoms such as increased heart rate or decreased blood pressure may occasionally occur. Other side effects such as headache, facial flushing, dizziness, feeling of warmth, trembling, swelling, and anemia may also occur, so caution is necessary. Patients with lumbar spinal stenosis should monitor changes in symptoms and determine whether to continue treatment, and the efficacy for patients requiring surgery is uncertain. Safety in children has not been established, so there is no experience of use.
