Longcaine Cream (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25-0.66 grams (23-62 milligrams of lidocaine) as an ointment 5-15 minutes before intercourse. The dose and application time vary by individual, using the minimum effective amount. Do not exceed a total of 2 grams (184 milligrams of lidocaine) within a 24-hour period.

This medication should not be used by individuals with hypersensitivity to amide local anesthetics. Additionally, it is safe not to apply this medication to areas with skin wounds or inflammation. It is recommended not to use this medication in pregnant women. Patients with liver or kidney disease should use this medication with additional caution. If a rash or irritation occurs while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if symptoms persist. It is important not to use this medication for a prolonged period of more than three months without a doctor's directive. This medication is for external use only and should never be applied to the eyes or nose. It is advisable to avoid repeated application to the same area. It should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children or infants, avoiding high temperatures, low temperatures, and direct sunlight. After use, do not dispose of it by burning.
