Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have had an allergy to this medication or any of its components. Persons with asthma, especially those who have experienced asthma symptoms due to aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should be cautious as using this medication may lead to an asthma attack. This medication should not be used in areas with eyes, mucous membranes, wounds, or on skin with eczema, rashes, and fungal infections such as tinea or ringworm. Patients with bronchial asthma, those undergoing treatment, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product. Especially women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and nursing mothers should only use this medication if the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks due to its uncertain safety. Children, especially premature infants, newborns, infants, and young children, have not established safety, so there is limited experience in usage. Elderly individuals over 65 years of age may experience side effects more frequently on the skin when using this medication, so skin conditions should be closely monitored. This medication contains sodium metabisulfite, which may rarely cause severe allergic reactions or asthma attacks, so caution is required for those with such allergies. If symptoms do not improve after using this medication for about one week, immediately stop using it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms such as itching, reddened spots, contact dermatitis, discomfort in the abdomen, or elevated liver function test results appear during use, consult a healthcare professional immediately. Rarely, severe allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur, so if symptoms like difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling of the face or neck occur, stop use immediately and seek emergency care. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and regimen, as it is supportive for alleviating symptoms and does not treat the underlying cause. When there is a skin infection, do not use this medication alone; instead, use it in conjunction with appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agents while closely monitoring the condition. In the case of chronic diseases, do not rely solely on this medication for treatment; consider other treatment options and be vigilant for any adverse reactions. Avoid using sealing bandage therapy with this medication, and keep it out of reach of children. In addition, this medication should be stored tightly closed in its original container; transferring it to another container may risk misuse or deterioration in quality.
