Precautions

This medication should be used with caution if the patient regularly consumes a significant amount of alcohol, as it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. It can also increase the risk of blood clots in the cardiovascular system, potentially leading to serious issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke. If cardiovascular symptoms occur, even in patients without a history of cardiovascular disease, immediate medical consultation is needed, and it should only be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. This medication may cause severe gastrointestinal issues such as ulcers, bleeding, or perforation, so caution is particularly necessary in elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. If symptoms such as epigastric pain, indigestion, black stools, or vomiting occur, medical attention should be sought immediately. It should not be administered to individuals with specific allergic reactions, severe liver or kidney disease, heart failure, active peptic ulcer, inflammatory bowel disease, or pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients with reduced liver or kidney function, asthma, hypertension, and those at high risk for cardiovascular disease need careful monitoring when using this medication. Various side effects may occur; common ones include indigestion, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, hypertension, cough, and skin rash. Severe skin reactions or allergic symptoms may appear, so if skin rash, blisters, fever, or itching symptoms occur, administration should be stopped immediately, and medical attention sought.
