This medication is used to help control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with either amlodipine or olmesartan medoxomil. It assists in effectively managing hypertension, thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications. How to take

Adult dose

This medication is administered once daily with one tablet, regardless of meals, taken with water. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). The recommended dosages are as follows. - 5/20 milligrams: administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with either amlodipine 5 milligrams or olmesartan medoxomil 20 milligrams. - 10/20 milligrams: administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with olmesartan medoxomil 20 milligrams.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimester of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy.
