Nexcaine Cream (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.24-0.66 grams (23-62 mg of lidocaine) of this medication 5-15 minutes before intercourse. Do not exceed a maximum of 2 grams (184 mg of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This medication should not be used by anyone who has a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to amide-type local anesthetics. It is safe not to use this medication on areas with wounds or inflammation. It is recommended that pregnant individuals avoid using this medication. Patients with liver or kidney issues should use this medication with caution. Since this medication contains propylene glycol, care should be taken if there is an allergy or hypersensitivity to this ingredient. If a rash or irritation occurs during use, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Prolonged use beyond 3 months without a doctor's direction should be avoided. This medication is for external use only and should be kept away from the eyes and nose. Repeated application on the same area is not advisable. Keep out of reach of children and infants in a safe place. Store at temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius or too low, and avoid direct sunlight. Used medication should not be burned but disposed of properly.
