Precautions
This medication should not be taken by women who are within the first three months of pregnancy or who may become pregnant if they exceed 5,000 IU of vitamin A per day. This is to reduce the risk of congenital malformations. Except for patients with vitamin A deficiency, high doses during pregnancy should be avoided. Do not take this medicine if you have had allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to any of the ingredients included in this drug. Infants under three months of age or those with a history of allergy to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should also avoid using this medication. Children under one year of age, patients undergoing treatment by a physician, pregnant or breastfeeding women, premature infants, and young children should consult a specialist before use. Particularly, patients with metabolic disorders of fats, hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should use this medication cautiously. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin itching, dryness, joint swelling, diarrhea, constipation, loss of appetite, skin rash, or edema occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a professional. Long-term high-dose intake of vitamin A may increase the risk of osteoporosis in women after menopause, so caution is required. Adhere to the recommended dosage, and administer to children under the supervision of a guardian. Vitamin A is sufficiently supplied through normal diet, so the intake should not exceed 5,000 IU as a supplement. This medication can cause urine to turn yellow, which may affect clinical test results. Patients at risk of fat overload should monitor their blood lipid levels and adjust dosage, considering the lipid content if receiving other lipid-injectable medications. Store this medication in a tightly sealed container to protect it from air and moisture. Also, it is advisable to keep the drug at room temperature between 1 degree Celsius and 30 degrees Celsius, avoiding excessively hot or cold places. To maintain quality, it is recommended not to transfer to another container.
