1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis Administer 250 to 500 mg of naproxen orally, twice daily (every 12 hours). 2. Acute gout Administer an initial dose of 750 mg orally, then 250 mg orally every 8 hours until the attack subsides. 3. Skeletal muscle disorders, postoperative pain, post-extraction pain, dysmenorrhea, tendinitis, bursitis Administer an initial dose of 500 mg orally, followed by administration of 250 mg every 6 to 8 hours, not to exceed a total daily dose of 1,250 mg. 4. Migraine Administer an initial dose of 750 mg orally; if needed, an additional 250 to 500 mg can be administered daily, 30 minutes after the initial dose. The total daily dose should not exceed 1,250 mg. Dosage should be adjusted based on age and symptoms.

This medication is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, acute gout, and dysmenorrhea. It is also effective in relieving pain from bursitis, muscle and ligament injuries, postoperative pain, migraines, and post-tooth extraction pain. This is a medication that helps improve various inflammatory and pain-related conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis Administer 250 to 500 mg of naproxen orally, twice daily (every 12 hours). 2. Acute gout Administer an initial dose of 750 mg orally, then 250 mg orally every 8 hours until the attack subsides. 3. Precautions

Those with a history of peptic ulcers, blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, or liver or kidney dysfunction should use this medication cautiously, and the elderly should take care when using it. This medication can rarely cause allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, blood disorders, liver or kidney dysfunction, neurological disturbances, skin rashes, and if any symptoms appear, immediate discontinuation and consultation with healthcare professionals are necessary. This medication should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible, and regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests should be performed during prolonged use. The risk of side effects may increase if this medication is taken with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or specific medications, so it is essential to consult experts when co-administering. Pregnant women, especially in late pregnancy, should avoid this medication as it may harm the fetus; nursing women should also avoid using it. Infants under 2 years of age should not use this medication as its safety has not been established, and the elderly should administer it cautiously at lower doses due to a higher risk of side effects. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers to maintain quality.

Interactions

Drug interactions

This medication should not be taken with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and naproxen derivatives. Hydantoin anticonvulsants, sulfonamides, sulfonylurea anti-diabetic agents, propranolol and other beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors (e.g., captopril), loop and thiazide diuretics, probenecid, lithium, methotrexate, and coumarin anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin) should not be co-administered.
