Therefore, this medication is prescribed for various joint and musculoskeletal disorders and is used to reduce pain and inflammation, aiding the patient's everyday life.

How to take

Adult dose

For aceclofenac, take 200 mg once daily. This medication should be taken whole without chewing or crushing it. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

Patients who regularly consume three or more alcoholic beverages a day should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. High alcohol consumption while on this medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may affect the heart and cerebrovascular system, so patients with cardiovascular disease or heart failure should use it with caution. Especially those with risk factors like hypertension, diabetes, and smoking should use this medication at the lowest dose for the shortest duration. This medication can burden the stomach, so it should not be taken by those with a history of gastric ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, and elderly patients or those at risk for gastrointestinal diseases should closely monitor stomach symptoms while taking it. Patients with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, those allergic to this medication or similar drugs, individuals with asthma or a history of allergies, pregnant women in the later stages of pregnancy, and patients with severe heart, kidney, or liver diseases should not take this medication. Patients with poor kidney or liver function, elderly individuals, asthmatics, pregnant women in early pregnancy or those of childbearing potential, and those taking anticoagulants should use this medication cautiously. There may be side effects such as dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances, liver function abnormalities, and skin rashes; if these occur, the patient must consult a physician immediately.
