This medication is used to relieve muscle cramps caused by magnesium deficiency. It is also used to supplement vitamin B6 during pregnancy, lactation, and in cases of weakened physical strength due to illness or after illness. Vitamin B6 helps alleviate inflammation symptoms around the mouth, such as angular cheilitis, cheilitis, stomatitis, and glossitis, as well as skin diseases such as eczema and dermatitis. Therefore, this medication is effective for improving muscle cramps, symptoms related to vitamin B6 deficiency, and skin inflammation symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 12 years and older and adults: take 10 mL twice daily between meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or any of its components. Additionally, it should not be administered to infants under 12 months of age or patients with severe renal impairment. While taking this medication, do not concurrently take phosphonates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, and medications such as levodopa. Individuals receiving treatment or those with heart or cardiovascular issues, poor kidney function, low protein levels, and pregnant women should consult an expert before taking this medication. Furthermore, individuals allergic or hypersensitive to the caramel components contained in this medication should exercise caution. If redness, diarrhea, irregular heart rhythms, or central nervous system depression occurs after taking this medication, immediately discontinue use and consult an expert. Long-term high-dose intake of pyridoxine can cause peripheral nerve issues, so caution is advised. Additionally, excessive intake may lead to side effects such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema. Be cautious when taking with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene due to the risk of hyperkalemia. If excessive doses have been taken or symptoms persist for more than a month, consult an expert without fail. It is essential to adhere strictly to the prescribed method and dosage, and this medication should only be taken orally and not used as an injection. Avoid consuming teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before, during, or after taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, in a cool, dry, and dark place, tightly sealed to avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture. For quality maintenance, it is best not to transfer it to another container.

Edema → severe swelling or urination difficulties, bradycardia → serious neurological symptoms

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal symptoms, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, edema, sensory neuropathy or neurological symptoms (neuropathy: functional disturbance or pathological change of the peripheral nervous system), redness, diarrhea, bradycardia (heart rate slowing), central nervous system depression
