Improvement of skin conditions such as progressive keratoderma (dry type of housewife's eczema) and palmar-plantar keratoderma
This medication is used for various skin conditions such as progressive keratoderma, palmar-plantar keratoderma, tinea, senile keratosis, follicular lichen, and atopic dermatitis.
Wash the affected area once or multiple times a day, then apply this medication and rub it in thoroughly.
This medication should not be used on mucous membranes, such as the conjunctiva of the eyes. Also, individuals allergic to any of the ingredients in this medication should avoid its use. It is advisable not to use this medication if there is acute eczema or inflammation on the skin. Caution should be taken when applying this medication over large areas for patients with impaired kidney function as it may be risky. Careful use is required when applying to inflamed or cracked skin, as temporary irritation may occur. Individuals sensitive to skin irritation may also experience temporary irritation when using this medication, thus caution is necessary. During use, symptoms of irritation such as pain, warmth, redness, and itching may occur, but these symptoms are usually temporary. If an allergic reaction occurs, use should be stopped immediately. If serious symptoms such as skin dryness, eczema, cracking, tingling, burning sensation, peeling, and rarely swelling appear, use should be stopped and a consultation with a specialist is advised. Applying this medication may enhance the absorption of corticosteroids or other specific medications through the skin; therefore, consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is necessary when used together. This medication is for external use only on the skin and should not be applied directly to areas with wounds or ulcers. Care should be taken to avoid contact with mucous membranes like the eyes, nose, and mouth, and if it accidentally gets into the eyes, it should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water. Finally, it is important to store this medication in a safe place out of the reach of children.
