Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus, particularly during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so if pregnancy is confirmed, it should be discontinued immediately. Individuals with allergies to this drug's main ingredients or related components, pregnant or nursing women, and those with severe kidney or liver disease should not take this medication. Patients with reduced sodium or fluid in their bodies may experience low blood pressure, so their condition should be closely monitored prior to use and it should be used under medical supervision. Patients with high potassium levels should be cautious when taking this medication alongside potassium-increasing medications, and regular potassium level checks are necessary. Patients with renal vascular problems or those who have undergone kidney transplants should use this medication with caution, as kidney function may deteriorate during treatment. If symptoms of angioedema (airway obstruction or swelling of the face, lips, tongue) occur, discontinue use immediately and do not resume. Patients with heart failure or post-myocardial infarction should frequently monitor kidney function and blood pressure while using this medication, considering the potential for worsening heart failure. Patients with acute myocardial infarction or heart disease such as aortic stenosis should use this medication with special caution. Using this medication alongside other antihypertensives can increase the risk of hypotension, hyperkalemia, and kidney impairment, so consultation with a doctor is necessary. There may be dizziness or fatigue when driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised. In the case of overdose, severe hypotension or heart-related issues may occur, so the dosage must be adhered to, and any unusual symptoms should be reported to medical personnel immediately. This medication is not recommended for pediatric patients under 18 years of age, as safety and efficacy have not been established. Older adults can use similar doses as regular adults, but should follow doctor's instructions based on their health status.
