Precautions

This medication contains sodium hyaluronate and is primarily used for ophthalmic applications after eye surgery. This medication should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to protein-based drugs. Caution is necessary when using this drug, as side effects such as increased intraocular pressure, inflammation, corneal edema, and vision disturbances may occur. Moreover, intraocular pressure should be carefully measured immediately after eye surgery, and if the pressure rises, appropriate treatment should be administered. After surgery, it is advisable to wash or aspirate this medication from inside the eye, and during surgery, appropriate irrigation solutions should be used to prevent the drug from coming into direct contact with the eye tissues. Care should be taken to avoid contact with specific cleansers or disinfectants, such as benzalkonium chloride, as mixing with such substances can cause precipitation. This medication may cause immune reactions or other risks, so care is required during administration. It should not be used in conjunction with other medications like hyaluronidase. This medication is for ophthalmic use only and must never be injected intravascularly. Before use, allow the refrigerated drug to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to adjust the temperature, and once opened, it should be used only once, discarding any leftover medication. During injection, care should be taken to ensure that air does not enter the eye, and excessive administration may lead to elevated intraocular pressure and other issues. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it is important not to transfer it to other containers to maintain quality.
