Precautions

This medication must be used with caution during pregnancy, especially in the second trimester, as it may cause serious harm to the fetus if taken. You should discontinue use immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy, and it should not be used by pregnant women or those who may become pregnant. Patients with allergies to this drug or its components, or with specific kidney, liver, or electrolyte abnormalities should not take this medication. Patients with hypotension, kidney issues, liver disease, gout, or diabetes should consult their physician and use this medication cautiously. Due to the hydrochlorothiazide component, electrolyte imbalances may occur, so regular blood tests are advised; symptoms of dehydration or electrolyte imbalances should be reported immediately. This drug lowers blood pressure, which may cause dizziness and drowsiness at the start of treatment or with dosage changes, so attention is needed when driving or operating machinery. Interactions with other medications may occur, so it is essential to inform your doctor or pharmacist of any medications you are taking. Caution is especially required when taken with potassium supplements or medications containing potassium, as it may dangerously elevate potassium levels. During treatment, avoid excessive sun exposure, and consult healthcare personnel immediately if any skin issues arise. Caution is especially required for the elderly and children, as there is little experience using this medication in those populations. If you experience any unusual symptoms or discomfort while taking this medication, consult your physician immediately, and do not stop taking it arbitrarily. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept sealed in its original container.
