This medication is effective for the relief of pain associated with major arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis, as well as pain from dental problems, post-traumatic inflammation, low back pain, and sciatica. It is particularly used for relieving pain caused by periarthritis of the joints and non-articular rheumatism. It reduces inflammation and improves pain associated with various diseases and symptoms, thereby mitigating discomfort in daily life. Therefore, it is widely utilized for pain management in joint and musculoskeletal diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

For aceclofenac, take 100 mg once every 12 hours, for a total of 2 times a day. This medication should be taken whole without chewing or crushing. Adjust according to symptoms. Should be given at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before use for those who regularly consume more than three cups of alcohol daily. People who consume a lot of alcohol are at risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taking this medication. This drug may increase the risk to the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, so it should be administered cautiously to patients with risk factors for heart disease or cerebrovascular disease. The longer the dosage and duration, the higher the risk of cardiovascular disease, so the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration should be used. During treatment, regular checks for cardiovascular symptoms should be conducted.
