Citrulline Solution (Citrated Hydrate)

Adult dosage

This medication is only used for artificial kidney dialysis machines with specified dilution concentration and washing time that allows washing using citrated hydrate. The dosage, dilution concentration, and washing time should follow the manual of the artificial kidney dialysis machine (maximum dilution concentration: 0.42% or more as citrated hydrate). After dialysis treatment, rinsing must be done for at least 10 minutes before disinfection. The disinfection sequence is rinsing before disinfection (water), thermal disinfection (citrated hydrate), disinfection.

This medication must not be directly administered to humans. It is not intended for use in humans, so it must never be applied to the body. Patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medication should not use the artificial kidney dialysis machine processed with this medication. Allergic reactions may occur. This medication should only be used according to the specified dosage and administration; it should not be used in any other manner. If this medication is inhaled, fresh air should be obtained, and, if necessary, the nose, mouth, and throat should be rinsed with clean water. Contact with skin may cause irritation, so if it comes in contact with the skin, remove any contaminated clothing and wash the skin thoroughly with plenty of water. If it comes into contact with the eyes, they may become irritated, so rinse the eyes immediately with clean water for 10 to 15 minutes, keeping the eyes wide open and following the doctor's instructions. Taking this medication can cause a tingling sensation in the mouth and throat or abdominal pain, so it is advisable to rinse the mouth with water and drink about two cups of water or milk after taking it. Do not induce vomiting and follow the doctor's instructions. This medication should only be used with the artificial kidney dialysis machine and must be used in conjunction with the machine’s thermal disinfection program. When using it, precautions should be taken to avoid contact with skin and eyes, and appropriate protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection should be worn. Always refer to the manual when using the artificial kidney dialysis machine for proper usage. Keep it stored out of reach of children in a safe location, and do not store it for an extended period in direct sunlight or high-temperature environments. This medication must be kept in its original container, and care should be taken not to transfer it to another container, as this may degrade its quality. Avoid touching the vent plug as well. Do not return used medication to the original container and must be discarded properly.

Mild side effects

Skin irritation, eye irritation, tingling sensation in the mouth and throat, abdominal pain, do not induce vomiting

This medication must be stored in a tightly sealed container to avoid exposure to air or moisture. The appropriate storage temperature is room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees. Avoid storing it in excessively hot or excessively cold places.
