If recurrence occurs, repeat treatment. 2) Short-term treatment of duodenal ulcer: Administer 20mg orally once daily. Most cases may heal within 2 weeks, although the healing period may occasionally vary by patient. Precautions

This medication is used to treat gastrointestinal diseases by reducing gastric acid. It should not be administered to patients who are allergic to its components or to patients with suspected malignant gastric ulcers. Caution is needed as the use of this medication in patients with malignant tumors can lead to symptom relief that may delay diagnosis. Also, it cannot be combined with certain antiviral agents and some antibiotics, so it must be discussed with healthcare professionals. Patients with impaired liver function or the elderly should have their doses adjusted, and in cases of severe liver dysfunction, it should not exceed 20 mg per day. While taking this medication, neurological symptoms such as headaches, drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia may occur, and in severe cases, confusion or hallucinations can rarely occur. Liver enzyme levels may increase, so if there are signs of liver dysfunction, administration must be stopped immediately. In the gastrointestinal tract, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain may commonly occur, and dry mouth or stomatitis may occur rarely. Severe skin reactions such as skin rashes, itching, and in severe cases, Stevens-Johnson syndrome may appear, so if any skin abnormalities occur, the medication should be stopped immediately. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions such as angioedema and shock may occur, so caution is advised. Long-term use may increase the risk of fractures and hypomagnesemia may occur, so regular testing is necessary. This medication lowers gastric acidity, which can increase the risk of certain bacterial infections, so if diarrhea persists, medical consultation should be sought. During pregnancy, it should be used cautiously only when necessary, as it may affect the fetus, and during lactation, it is better to avoid administration or discontinue breastfeeding. Safety in children has not been established, so it is preferable not to use it in children. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as vomiting, dizziness, abdominal pain, and headaches may occur, but most are temporary and severe symptoms are rare. Keep out of reach of children, do not transfer to another container, and store it tightly closed after use. This medication may increase the risk of tumors in the stomach due to long-term use, so regular check-ups are necessary during long-term administration.
