How to take

Adult dose

This medication can be taken with or without food, but it is recommended to take it at the same time each day. For hypertension treatment, administer 50 mg orally once daily, and if blood pressure control is insufficient, it can be taken twice daily or increased to a maximum of 100 mg once daily. Precautions

This medication may cause serious harm to the fetus if taken by pregnant women, particularly in the second and third trimesters, so it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Babies exposed to this medication in utero may experience serious problems such as hypotension, kidney function degradation, and cranial formation issues, so if pregnancy is confirmed, use should be discontinued immediately. It is advisable that breastfeeding women do not take this medication, and if unavoidable, breastfeeding should be discontinued. This medication is not recommended for children, especially those under 6 years of age or those with severely impaired kidney function. In the case of overdose, hypotension and bradycardia may occur, so immediate treatment at a medical facility is necessary. Caution is needed when taking this medication as dizziness or drowsiness may occur, affecting tasks requiring concentration such as driving or operating machinery. This medication may have reduced efficacy if taken with grapefruit juice, so it is advisable to avoid grapefruit juice during treatment.
