This medication is used to treat myocardial ischemia caused by hypertension and coronary artery diseases such as stable and variant angina. Specifically, it alleviates symptoms caused by atherosclerosis or vascular spasms, improving blood flow to the heart. Additionally, for patients identified with coronary artery disease during recent angiography who do not have heart failure or have a cardiac output of over 40%, it helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina and the risk associated with coronary artery revascularization. Therefore, this drug is effective in improving symptoms of cardiovascular diseases and lowering the risk of complications.
