Slikan Tablet (L-Carnitine)

Adult dose

Adults: Administer L-carnitine 2-3g per day orally in 2-3 divided doses. Adjust the dose appropriately according to age and symptoms.

This medicine should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to it. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as temporary nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur during administration. Also, please note that body odor may change. Rarely, symptoms such as skin rashes or hives and facial swelling have been reported. Caution is needed if patients with uremia take this medicine, as symptoms of muscle weakness may appear. The safety of this medicine during pregnancy has not been fully established, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use it when the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks. During breastfeeding, the exact amount of this medicine that passes into breast milk is not known, but considering that many drugs can transfer into breast milk, it should be used cautiously.

This medicine should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. It is recommended to keep the storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
