If symptoms persist, additional treatment for another 4 weeks. - Long-term maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence in esophagitis patients: administer 20 mg once daily. - Symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease without esophagitis: 1 daily dose.

This medicine is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and for long-term maintenance therapy to prevent the recurrence of erosive esophagitis. It is also effective for the treatment and prevention of recurrence of duodenal and peptic ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori. Additionally, it helps to treat and prevent gastric ulcers associated with upper gastrointestinal symptoms during the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Furthermore, it is used for the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and maintenance therapy after prevention of rebleeding of gastric or duodenal ulcers. Overall, this drug is widely used for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and prevention of recurrence.
