This medicine is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, particularly for erosive reflux esophagitis and long-term maintenance therapy to prevent recurrence of esophagitis. It is also effective for relieving symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease without esophagitis. Helps in the treatment and prevention of recurrence of duodenal ulcers and peptic ulcers in combination with antibiotics for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori. It is also applicable for treating upper gastrointestinal symptoms related to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and for the prevention and treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Additionally, it is used for the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and maintenance therapy after preventing rebleeding of gastric or duodenal ulcers. In summary, it effectively treats gastrointestinal diseases and improves symptoms.
