This medication temporarily alleviates symptoms such as pain, itching, swelling, and bleeding caused by anal fissures and hemorrhoids, and helps to disinfect the wound area. It is used to reduce discomfort and improve symptoms for patients.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Ages 15 years and older: Apply directly to the affected area up to 3 times per day or use as a suppository. If using as a suppository, insert the applicator attached to the tube into the rectum.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with heart disease, hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes, or urinary difficulties due to prostate enlargement. During the use of this drug, do not use suppositories, ointments, or creams containing dl-methylphenidate hydrochloride, scopolamine, or glycyrrhizic acid, and it is advisable not to take antihypertensives or antidepressants simultaneously. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, patients undergoing medical treatment, and individuals with hypersensitivity or a history of allergies to propylene glycol contained in this medication must consult with a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before use. If redness, swelling, or irritation occurs during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Moreover, if allergy symptoms such as rash, redness, itching occur, there is a risk of serious anaphylactic shock, so it is essential to stop use immediately and consult with a healthcare provider. If symptoms do not improve after about 7 days of use, do not continue using and should consult a specialist, and should stop use immediately in case of bleeding. This medication must be used strictly according to the prescribed usage and dosage, and should not be used in children. It should be used only in the anal area, and should never be applied to the eyes. Store it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep it sealed in a cool, dry place.
