Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medicine is 1 capsule (0.5mg) once daily. Exposure to the contents of the capsule may cause irritation of the oropharyngeal mucosa; therefore, swallow this medicine whole without chewing or splitting it. This medicine may be taken with or without food. No dosage adjustment is necessary for patients with renal impairment or elderly patients. Since there are no data on the administration of this medicine to patients with hepatic impairment, the recommended dose for these patients has not been established.

This medication can be absorbed through the skin, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not touch or take this medication. If the capsule bursts and the medication comes into contact with the skin, it should be immediately washed thoroughly with soap and water. This medication should not be used in children under 18 years of age. Care should be taken to keep children from coming into contact with this medication, and if contact occurs, the area should be cleaned immediately. Women, children under 18 years of age, and individuals with allergies to this medication or its other ingredients should not take this medication. Adult men planning to conceive should carefully take this medication only after consulting their doctor, as it may affect reproductive ability. Patients with severely reduced urinary excretion or liver problems should also use this medication with caution. This medication is metabolized in the liver; therefore, taking it with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase serum concentrations, and you should follow your doctor's instructions. This medication can cause sexual dysfunction, such as erectile dysfunction, reduced libido, and ejaculation disorders, which may persist even after discontinuation of the drug. During the use of this medication, the PSA levels for prostate cancer screening may decrease, so caution is required in interpreting test results. Routine doctor check-ups are necessary. Blood donation is prohibited during the use of this medication, and blood donation should not occur for at least 6 months after discontinuation. Patients with heart failure should consult their doctor before combining this medication with other drugs, as heart failure symptoms may worsen. There is no specific antidote for overdose; therefore, appropriate treatment should be administered according to symptoms, and the long half-life of this medication may prolong recovery time. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original container to prevent misuse or deterioration in quality. This medication is known not to affect driving or operating machinery, but caution is advised as this may vary by individual.
