This medication is used to improve constipation. It also helps alleviate symptoms that may arise due to constipation, such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestine, and hemorrhoids.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults over 15 years old, take 1 tablet 3 times a day after meals. For the initial dose, take the minimum amount and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction. Additionally, individuals with a genetic condition that prevents the breakdown of lactose should also avoid this medication. It is advisable to avoid taking this medication within one hour after consuming antacids or milk. Patients experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, those who are pregnant or may become pregnant, individuals with kidney disorders, those taking other medications, or those with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel failure should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Furthermore, if abdominal discomfort or cramps develop, or if constipation does not improve after one week of use, discontinue use and seek advice. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and duration. Prolonged use can lead to tolerance and worsening of constipation, so it is advisable not to use it continuously for more than one week. If a laxative is needed daily, the underlying cause of constipation should be accurately investigated. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and in a tightly closed container, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place.
