Precautions

This medication contains steroid components that relieve skin inflammation and itching. However, it should not be used if there are skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or parasites, as symptoms may worsen. Individuals with allergies or a history of hypersensitivity to this medication or its components should also avoid use. It is advisable not to use this medication on areas with pierced ears, severe burns, or ulcers, as healing may be delayed. It is also safe to avoid use in areas with dermatitis around the mouth, acne, or non-inflammatory itching. Women who are pregnant or could become pregnant, nursing mothers, and especially children under 2 years old must consult a physician before using this medication. Elderly individuals may also be more sensitive to side effects, so caution is necessary. Long-term or widespread use of this medication may result in side effects such as skin infections, skin irritation, rashes, itching, and skin dryness. Additionally, skin damage such as steroid acne, skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and pigmentation changes may occur; usage should be discontinued if symptoms appear. Long-term use of this medication can affect hormonal function, potentially resulting in rare systemic side effects such as weight gain, growth retardation, hyperglycemia, hypertension, osteoporosis, cataracts, and glaucoma. Care should be taken when using on the skin around the eyes, as there is a risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. In cases of dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, appropriate antibacterial or antifungal treatment must be performed or combined prior to using this medication. Regular monitoring, such as blood cortisol level tests, is necessary when using this medication extensively or in conjunction with occlusive dressings. If symptoms do not improve or worsen during use, it should be stopped immediately, and the treatment period should be limited to 7 days. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should not be used after makeup or shaving. Keep this medication out of the reach of children. Pregnant or nursing women should use it in the minimum dose and for the shortest duration necessary to minimize risks to the fetus or infant. Children's skin is more fragile than that of adults and absorbs medication more effectively, so long-term use should be avoided, especially in the diaper area which has a similar effect to occlusive dressings. Elderly patients should be observed more cautiously, especially when using higher doses or for extended periods due to a higher likelihood of side effects. Excessive use may lead to systemic side effects, so adherence to dosages as directed by a physician is essential.
