Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medicine is 1 capsule (0.5mg) once daily. Exposure to the capsule contents may cause irritation of the oropharyngeal mucosa; therefore, swallow the capsule whole without chewing or opening it. This medicine may be taken with or without food. No dosage adjustment is necessary in patients with renal impairment or elderly patients. The recommended dose in patients with hepatic impairment has not been established because there are no data on administration of this medicine to such patients.

This medication can be absorbed through the skin, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle this drug. If this drug leaks and comes into contact with the skin, it should be washed immediately with clean water and soap. Care should be taken to ensure that children do not come into contact with this drug, and if contact occurs, it should also be washed off immediately. Women, children under 18 years old, and individuals allergic to this drug or similar medications should not take this drug. Men planning to conceive should consult a doctor before using this medication, as it may affect reproductive ability. Patients with urinary tract problems or liver dysfunction should be particularly cautious when taking this medication and should closely monitor their symptoms. Additionally, patients on certain strong medications (e.g., CYP3A4 inhibitors) for extended periods should exercise caution when using this drug. This drug may cause primarily male reproductive-related side effects, such as erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and ejaculation disorders. These side effects may persist even after discontinuation of the drug. Regular health check-ups, including prostate cancer screening, should be conducted during use, and specific blood levels (PSA) should be monitored periodically. This drug may increase the risk of prostate cancer, so if any abnormal symptoms occur, immediate consultation with a healthcare professional is warranted. Blood donation should not be performed until at least 6 months after the last intake of this drug. There is no specific antidote for overdose, so if symptoms appear, immediate medical attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. This drug should be kept out of reach of children and stored in its original container. While this drug does not significantly affect the ability to drive or operate machinery, caution is advised in the event of side effects. It is advisable not to take other medications concurrently without consulting a doctor during the use of this drug, and it is important to inform about any medications being taken.
