This medication is used to improve constipation. It helps relieve symptoms such as appetite loss, abdominal distension, intestinal fermentation abnormalities, and hemorrhoids that may arise from constipation. Therefore, it can simultaneously improve various discomforts associated with constipation.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older: Take 2 tablets once daily at bedtime. However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount and adjust the dosage based on the shape and condition of your stool.

Child dose

Aged 11 years and older - under 15 years: Take 1 and 1/3 tablets once daily at bedtime. Aged 8 years and older - under 11 years: Take 1 tablet once daily at bedtime.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with acute abdominal diseases, such as appendicitis, intestinal bleeding, or ulcerative colitis. Additionally, those with intestinal obstruction should avoid this medication. It is also not safe for children under 7 years old. Since this medication contains lactose monohydrate, individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour of consuming antacids or milk. Individuals with severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting should consult with a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should also consult with a healthcare professional before use. Individuals taking other medications should consult with a healthcare professional before using this medication as well. Those on a sodium-restricted diet should also seek advice prior to use. Individuals with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel dysfunction must consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. This medication contains Yellow No. 5 and Yellow No. 6 dyes; therefore, those with allergies or hypersensitivity to these components should use it with caution. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur while taking this medication, stop immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. If constipation is not relieved after one week of use, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration. When administered to children, it should be used under the guidance and supervision of a guardian. Especially, children under 10 years old should avoid taking it unless absolutely necessary. When taking the medication, do not chew the tablets, but swallow them whole. Prolonged use may lead to tolerance to the medication and worsening constipation; therefore, it is advisable not to continue use for more than a week. If daily use of laxatives is required, be sure to check the underlying cause of constipation. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, to maintain quality and prevent misuse, it is safe not to transfer it to another container.
