Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal-caused skin infections as it may exacerbate symptoms. It is advisable not to take this medication if you have an allergy to the drug or its components or if you have hypersensitivity. Patients with perforated tympanic membranes and eczematous otitis externa should avoid this medication as it might delay healing or cause infections. Those with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite on the skin should refrain from using this medication as skin regeneration may be inhibited, delaying healing. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should also preferably avoid using this medication. Children under 30 months should not use this medication. While using this medication, it should not be applied to areas with skin infections accompanying eczema, wounds, or sensitive skin. This medication is generally not used for infected dermatitis, however, if essential, may be combined with antifungal or antibacterial agents. If the topical corticosteroid component is absorbed systemically, it may suppress hormone function or lead to side effects such as diabetes or Cushing's syndrome, thus necessitating regular check-ups when used over large areas for prolonged periods. If hormone function suppression is confirmed, steps such as reducing or discontinuing medication use should be taken, and typically function recovers after discontinuation. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to medications or cosmetics, those with a family history, or individuals with severely moist or inflamed skin should consult a specialist before use. Those undergoing medical treatment, children, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing mothers, and the elderly should definitely consult a professional before using this medication. Particularly in children, the absorption rate is higher, increasing the risk of side effects, so caution is necessary. If skin infection symptoms or rashes, itching, or skin irritation appear while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term use may lead to thinning skin or dilation of capillaries, so it is advisable to gradually reduce the dosage and switch to another medication. Eye-related side effects such as increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma may occur, thus it should not be applied near the eyes; if it gets into the eyes, it must be washed out immediately. If symptoms do not improve within 5 to 6 days, discontinuation is recommended, and it is best to stop usage as soon as symptoms improve. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and it should be used under the supervision of a guardian in children. This medication is for external use only, and care should be taken to avoid ingestion or inhalation. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes, and if contact occurs, wash thoroughly. The occlusive dressing method should be used as directed by a physician, applied to clean areas to reduce the risk of infection. Caution should also be exercised when using this medication in conjunction with items that have a sealing effect, such as diapers. It is safest not to use it for purposes other than treatment after makeup or shaving. Shake the solution well to mix evenly before use. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed. Transferring to another container may compromise quality, so it's best to store it in its original container. Do not place near fire, and do not use expired products.
