This medication is used to provide vitamins in cases of physical fatigue, during pregnancy, breastfeeding, during illness, or post-illness recovery, as well as in developmental and elderly stages. The Vitamin A included in this medication helps to alleviate dryness of the eyes and improves the symptoms of night blindness, which is the inability to see well in low light conditions. Additionally, Vitamin D assists in the development of bones and teeth and has the efficacy to prevent rickets. Therefore, this medication is used for the supply of essential vitamins for maintaining health and recovery, as well as improving related symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet once a day with meals.

Precautions

Caution is advised for women who are within the first three months of pregnancy or have the potential to become pregnant, as administering more than 5,000 IU of Vitamin A could pose a risk of congenital defects. If children overdose on the iron contained in this medication, it could lead to intoxication and serious risks, so it should be kept out of reach of children. Patients with hypercalcemia (excess calcium in the blood), kidney diseases, or sarcoidosis should not take this medication, and those allergic to its components should also avoid it. Infants under 12 months, patients with hyperkalemia, Wilson's disease, hemochromatosis, kidney stones, or severe renal failure should also refrain from taking this medication. During the course of taking this medication, it should not be taken with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline medications, antacids, levodopa, and other drugs. Patients receiving treatment from a doctor or those with specific gastrointestinal, heart, and kidney diseases, liver diseases, diabetes, gout, etc., should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should discuss proper dosage and necessity with a specialist, as this medication may affect the fetus or newborn. If unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rash, breathing difficulties, or irregular heartbeat occur while taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a specialist should be consulted. It is essential to strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and regimen and to avoid taking more than 5,000 IU of Vitamin A per day. Additionally, this medication may affect certain urine test results, and beverages containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, should be avoided before and after taking this medication. Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight.
