Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to relieve moderate to severe acute and chronic pain.
The recommended initial dose is 2 tablets, and thereafter the dosing interval should be at least 12 hours apart, with a maximum of 8 tablets per day. Avoid prolonged use beyond necessity, and if prolonged use is required, regular monitoring should be conducted. For the elderly, the usual adult dose should be given, but for those over 75 years of age, dosing should be done at intervals of at least 12 hours.
This medication can burden the liver, so individuals who consume alcohol in excess of a certain amount daily must consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. While taking this medication, sudden rashes or blisters, as well as severe allergic reactions, may occur, so if such symptoms appear, you should immediately stop taking the medication and consult a specialist. The components included in this medication can induce seizures in individuals with a history of epilepsy or those taking related drugs, so caution is necessary in such cases. Patients with severe respiratory diseases, especially those with acute bronchial asthma, may experience difficulty in breathing while taking this medication, so it should only be used in a professionally equipped medical facility. This medication can affect the central nervous system, potentially causing drowsiness or dizziness, so care should be taken when driving or operating machinery while on this medication. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding must consult with healthcare professionals before taking this medication, as it may pose risks to the baby through breast milk during lactation. While on this medication, you should avoid combining it with other analgesics or drugs affecting the central nervous system, and strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function may be affected in terms of the metabolism and excretion of this medication, so prior consultation with healthcare professionals for dose adjustment may be necessary. Abruptly discontinuing this medication can lead to withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, and tremors, so if cessation is necessary, you should gradually taper off according to medical guidance. Hives, severe swelling (edema), anaphylactic reaction, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, severe bronchial asthma exacerbation, seizures, convulsions, severe skin adverse reactions (acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN)), jaundice of the skin or eyes, liver dysfunction, severe headache, altered level of consciousness, visual disturbances, paralysis, decreased urine output, severe edema, blood pressure abnormalities
