1. For hemostasis and improvement of symptoms in gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, and improvement of symptoms related to gastroesophageal reflux disease, sodium alginate is usually administered orally in a single dose of 1–3g (approximately 20–60mL) 3–4 times a day on an empty stomach. If oral administration is not possible, administer via nasogastric tube (sonde). 2. For hemostasis during gastric biopsy bleeding, this medication is usually administered endoscopically in a single dose of 0.5–1.5g (approximately 10–30mL) and 1.5g (approximately 30mL) is administered orally.

This medication is used to stop bleeding caused by gastric and duodenal ulcers and erosive gastritis, and to improve symptoms. How to take

Adult dose

1. Precautions
