Relief of symptoms associated with skin fungal infections, such as inflammation and itching
This medication is used for the treatment of tinea, candidiasis, and tinea versicolor, which are representative skin fungal infections accompanied by symptoms such as inflammation, itchiness, and eczema.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (disease site) once or twice daily (morning or morning and evening). Once acute symptoms have subsided, use a non-corticosteroid medication.
Particularly in young children, it is advisable to avoid using over large areas for extended periods.
This medication should not be used on areas with bacterial or viral skin infections, as symptoms may worsen. Patients with allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients should avoid use. In cases of perforated eardrum or eczema of the external auditory canal, this medication should not be used as it may delay healing. This medication should not be applied to ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as it may hinder skin regeneration. If specific skin diseases such as perioral dermatitis, acne, rosacea, syphilis, or tuberculosis are present, it is advisable not to use this medication. Breastfeeding women should avoid using this medication. This medication should not be applied to skin with vaccine reactions or wounds. It is safer not to use it on areas larger than 10% of body surface area. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use it cautiously, especially during the first three months of pregnancy, and should consult a physician if necessary. In children, it should be used in minimal amounts under the guidance and supervision of a guardian, and long-term use should be monitored closely as it may affect growth. Using this medication for a long time or over large areas may thin the skin or cause redness, and side effects such as acne or hypopigmentation may occur, so discontinuation and consultation with a physician are advised if symptoms arise. Local use can still have systemic effects, potentially leading to adrenal suppression or hormone imbalance, hence regular monitoring may be required. When using around the eyes, caution is necessary as it may lead to increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma; if abnormal symptoms occur, use should be discontinued immediately and a specialist should be consulted. Using this medication with latex contraceptives may damage the contraceptive device, so it should be avoided in the genital area. When used in pregnant women, it may affect the fetus, so it should only be used in minimal doses and for the necessary duration, and breastfeeding women are advised to avoid it. In case of overdose, immediate gastric lavage should be performed; this medication is for external use only and should not be ingested. Store in a tightly sealed container to protect from air and moisture. It is best to keep it at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. This way, the efficacy of the medication can be maintained for a longer period.
