  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

This medication is primarily used for patients with essential hypertension and effectively controls blood pressure. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and death due to cardiovascular disease in patients who are at a high risk for cardiovascular disease, such as those aged over 55 with a history of coronary artery disease or stroke, or have diabetes with end-organ damage. It is particularly suitable for patients who cannot use ACE inhibitors and plays an important role in maintaining cardiovascular health. This medication manages both hypertension and cardiovascular disease risks, thereby improving the overall health status of patients.
