How to take

Adult dose

It is recommended to start with a dose of 2 tablets, and maintain at least a 12-hour interval for subsequent doses. Do not exceed 8 tablets in one day. Avoid prolonged use beyond necessary, and if long-term use is required, regular monitoring should be conducted. For elderly patients, the usual adult dose can be administered, but for those aged 75 and older, a minimum interval of 12 hours is required.

Precautions

This medication may strain the liver, so those who drink more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If severe skin rash or allergic reactions occur during the use of this medication, stop taking it immediately and seek medical attention. Due to the risk of seizures, caution should be exercised if there is a history of seizures or if medications that can induce seizures are being taken concurrently. This medication can rarely cause severe allergic reactions, so if you experience difficulty breathing or severe skin reactions, seek emergency treatment right away. In patients with acute severe asthma, this medication may suppress breathing, so it should only be used in a monitored environment. Taking this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants can lead to severe drowsiness, respiratory depression, and coma, so caution is advised in combination. In patients with head injury or elevated intracranial pressure, breathing suppression from this medication may worsen symptoms, so be cautious. This medication can lead to physical and psychological dependence, so it should be used under a doctor's guidance when used for long periods. Patients with impaired liver function are at risk for liver damage; consultation with a doctor before use is necessary. Patients with specific genotypes may metabolize this medication faster, increasing the risk of respiratory suppression, so caution is needed. This medication is not to be administered to children under the age of 12 or to adolescents under age 18 post-tonsillectomy. Elderly patients or those with reduced kidney and liver function should be more cautious when taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor before use, as this medication can affect the infant during breastfeeding. Caution is necessary while driving or operating machinery as drowsiness or dizziness may occur. Overdose can lead to severe respiratory depression, liver damage, and other risks, so the prescribed dosage must be strictly followed; if overdose is suspected, immediate emergency measures should be taken. This medication should not be taken together with other analgesics or medications containing acetaminophen, and users should be vigilant about drug interactions. If unusual symptoms appear during use, it is important to consult a doctor immediately.
