Precautions

This drug should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to protein-based drugs or to any components of this medication. Symptoms such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, corneal disorders, and foreign body sensation may occur, and rarely, discharge or pain may arise. If such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate measures. Inflammation of the eyelids or dermatitis may develop, so if symptoms arise, stop administration and seek treatment. If used with other eye drops, adverse reactions may be more frequent, so this drug should be used only after waiting about 30 minutes after using another eye drop. This drug is for instillation only, and care must be taken to avoid contact of the tip of the container with the eyelids or eyelashes. If the container gets contaminated, the medication may deteriorate, so it should be handled carefully to avoid direct contact. The preservative benzalkonium chloride may adsorb onto contact lenses, so it should not be used while wearing soft lenses, and lenses should only be worn after more than 15 minutes of instillation. Particularly for single-use products, they should be used immediately after opening, and any remaining medication should be discarded; it is advisable to discard 1-2 drops when opening to remove any fragments of the container. Store out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. For quality maintenance, it is also important not to transfer to other containers.
