Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if used during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. It should not be used in individuals with allergies to the main ingredients or similar class drugs, nor in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medication should also not be administered to patients with severe liver dysfunction, those undergoing kidney dialysis, or patients with certain heart valve diseases. In patients who have low body fluids or sodium levels, blood pressure may drop too low, so such patients should be closely monitored and treatment should be started gradually. There may be a sudden dilation of blood vessels leading to low blood pressure, thus caution is needed for patients with heart or vascular problems. Use with caution in patients with heart failure, and monitor renal function closely in patients with impaired kidney function while taking this medication. As this medication is metabolized in the liver, patients with poor liver function should be careful while taking it. During treatment, side effects such as dizziness, headache, fatigue, edema, or reduced blood pressure may occur; if severe abnormal symptoms arise, consult a physician. Pregnant women are advised to consult a doctor as this medication can have severe effects on the fetus; if planning to become pregnant or already pregnant, medical consultation is mandatory. Breastfeeding women should carefully consider the decision to take this medication as it can be passed to the baby through breast milk. Children under 18 years of age are not recommended to use this medication due to the lack of sufficient safety and efficacy data. Elderly individuals may have reduced liver, kidney, or heart function, so starting from a lower dose is recommended and careful monitoring is necessary. In cases of overdose, severe hypotension and heart dysfunction due to vascular dilation can occur, thus immediate medical treatment is required. This medication should be stored in a closed container protected from direct sunlight and moisture, and should not be transferred to another container.
