Improvement of epithelial damage of the conjunctiva (internal and external)
This medication is used to treat epithelial damage of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as epithelial damage caused by external factors such as surgery, drugs, trauma, and contact lens wear.
0.15%, 0.18%: Instill 1 drop 5-6 times a day. Adjust according to symptoms. Discard any remaining solution and container after use.
This ophthalmic solution contains sodium hyaluronate and is used to relieve dryness or irritation in the eyes. This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to its components or protein-based medications. Symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, congestion, corneal disorders, and foreign body sensation may occur during use, and if these symptoms appear, the use should be discontinued immediately and a doctor consulted. Rarely, eye discharge or eye pain may occur, so caution is needed. When using this medication, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, and if these symptoms appear, usage should be stopped and appropriate treatment must be sought. Adverse reactions may occur more frequently when used with other eye drops such as steroids, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma agents, antihistamines, cataract medications, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Therefore, it is advisable to apply this medication with at least a 30-minute interval from other eye drops. This medication is for ophthalmic use only, and care should be taken to avoid touching the tip of the container to the eyelids or eyelashes. If the container becomes contaminated, the solution may also become contaminated, so cleanliness must be maintained. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded before use, and any remaining solution after opening should be discarded immediately without reuse. Also, sharing this medication among multiple people should be avoided due to the risk of infection. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and it is best to keep it in a cool place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, it is important not to transfer the solution to other containers.
