Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients allergic to protein-based medications or any component of this drug. Side effects such as itching or irritation of the eyes, redness, conjunctivitis, corneal disorders, or foreign body sensation may occur, and if these symptoms arise, use should be discontinued immediately and a doctor's consultation should be sought. Rarely, inflammation of the eyelids or dermatitis may occur, so treatment should be stopped and appropriate management obtained if these symptoms appear. Caution is needed when used in conjunction with steroids, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma medications, antihistamines, cataract medications, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as the risk of side effects may increase. This drug contains phosphates and, in patients with severe corneal damage, corneal calcification may occur very rarely, so care is necessary. Do not use this medication simultaneously with other eye drops; if they must be used together, this medicine should be administered after waiting about 30 minutes following the application of other drops. This drug is intended for ocular use only, and care must be taken to ensure that the tip of the container does not come into contact with the eyelids or eyelashes to prevent contamination of the solution. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded, and after opening, it should be used immediately and any remaining medication should be discarded. It is advisable not to share this with others, and keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight to maintain the quality of the product, and do not transfer the medication to another container.
