Adult dose

Use in adult men The recommended dose is 10mg, taken with or without food before anticipated sexual activity. For patients in whom tadalafil 10mg does not provide an adequate effect, 20 mg may be tried. This medicine may be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. The maximum recommended frequency is once daily. Immediately after removing this medicine from its individual package, place it on the tongue and allow it to dissolve; take it without water. Long-term safety after extended daily dosing has not been established, and because the effect of this medicine usually lasts for more than one day, continuous daily administration is strongly discouraged. [See sections 1. Warnings and 11.1) Pharmacodynamic properties] Use in older men No dosage adjustment is required in older patients. Use in men with renal impairment No dosage adjustment is required in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. The maximum recommended dose in patients with severe renal impairment is 10mg. [See section 11.2) Pharmacokinetic properties]. Use in men with hepatic impairment The recommended dose is 10mg, taken with or without food before anticipated sexual activity. Clinical data on the safety of this medicine in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C) are limited; if prescribing it, the physician should carefully assess the individual benefit/risk. Use in men with diabetes No dosage adjustment is required in patients with diabetes.

Child dose

Do not use in persons under 18 years of age.

Patients with inherited retinal diseases or a history of vision loss should use this medication with caution, and combination with other erectile dysfunction treatments is not recommended. Patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function should be cautious in using this medication, and due to potential increased side effects when combined with specific drugs, consultation with a doctor is necessary. Side effects such as dizziness, headache, dyspepsia, myalgia, nasal congestion, flushing, limb pain, rhinitis, upper respiratory infections, cough, diarrhea, gastroesophageal reflux disease, abdominal pain, dizziness, itchiness, chest pressure, vomiting, nausea, fatigue, malaise, joint pain, muscle spasms, decreased hemoglobin, insomnia, drowsiness, lightheadedness, renal impairment, shortness of breath, blurred vision, color vision changes, conjunctivitis, eye pain, increased tear production, eyelid swelling may occur, most of which are mild, but if symptoms are severe, consultation with a doctor is advised. This medication should not be used by women, children, or neonates, and safety for pregnant women has not been established. It does not significantly impact driving or operating machinery, but it is advisable to check individual responses before proceeding with caution. In the case of overdose, immediate medical attention should be obtained, as it is difficult to remove this medication through dialysis. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and should be kept in its original packaging for safety.
