Hepagel Liquid (L-Aspartic Acid-L-Ornithine)

Adult dose

As a L-Aspartic Acid-L-Ornithine, take 6 g once, twice a day. Dissolve in plenty of water and take after meals (for powdered form). Take after meals (for liquid form).

This medication should not be taken by individuals with severely impaired kidney function, particularly those with serum creatinine levels above 3 mg/100 mL due to severe renal failure. Before taking this medicine, individuals who have a history of allergy to acetylsalicylic acid or experienced allergic reactions such as asthma should consult a physician or pharmacist. Additionally, this medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, so individuals sensitive to this component or with a history of allergies should use it with caution. If any unusual symptoms or side effects appear during use, immediately stop taking the medicine and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for about two weeks, stop taking it and consult a doctor. This medication must be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and should not be altered arbitrarily. Store in a safe place out of the reach of children. The medication should be stored away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. Also, do not transfer the medication to another container after removing it from its original container, and always securely close the lid of the original container to maintain the quality of the medicine.

Serious side effects

Severe renal failure (increased serum creatinine levels), immediate cessation of use and consultation are necessary if adverse reactions occur.
