Allergic reactions may occur, which can include cardiovascular collapse, loss of consciousness, swelling of the face or neck, difficulty breathing, rash, hives, and itching; if any of these symptoms occur, use should be stopped. When used in the eyes, temporary burning sensation, discomfort, redness, itching, conjunctivitis, keratitis, periorbital swelling, photophobia, blurred vision, tearing, dryness, and ocular pain may occur; rarely, severe corneal disorders or serious skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome may occur, necessitating immediate discontinuation if symptoms arise. There may be caution regarding hearing impairment or irritation symptoms.
