Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with an allergic reaction to the active ingredient or any component. While using this medication, neurological symptoms such as headache, taste disturbance, and dizziness may occur. Rare symptoms such as punctate keratitis, keratitis, eye pain, dryness, redness, and itching may also occur, and there may be experiences of glare or blurred vision. Nasal dryness or rhinitis symptoms can occur, and symptoms like dry mouth or dermatitis have also been reported rarely. Patients may feel fatigued. This medication should not be used to relieve irritation associated with contact lens wear, and if soft contact lenses are worn, they can only be put back in at least 15 minutes after instillation. While this medication is a non-sedating antihistamine, temporary blurring of vision can occur after instillation, so it is necessary to wait until vision clears before driving or operating machinery. During pregnancy, the effects on the fetus should be carefully considered while using this medication, and caution is required during breastfeeding as it may also affect the baby. It is safe to use in children aged 3 years and older, and elderly patients show similar safety and efficacy as regular adults. This medication should only be used locally in the eyes and should not be used for intravenous injection or oral administration. Care should be taken not to allow the tip of the container to touch the eye, and the cap should be securely closed after use to prevent contamination. If used with other eye drops, a minimum interval of 5 minutes should be observed, and it is preferable to administer ointments last. In cases of excessive use of this medication, patients should be closely monitored and receive appropriate treatment. For single-use products, they should only be used once after opening, and the first drop should be discarded to remove any foreign substances from inside the container. This medication contains phosphates, so caution is needed for patients with severe corneal damage due to the rare occurrence of corneal calcification.
