This medication is used for cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, stable angina, and variant angina due to vasospasm. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of hospitalization for angina in patients where coronary artery disease has been confirmed by angiography without heart failure and with cardiac output not less than 40%, and helps decrease the risk of coronary artery revascularization. In other words, this medication is used to alleviate symptoms in patients with heart disease and improve cardiovascular health.
