Precautions

This medication must be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume alcohol above a certain amount daily because it may pose a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular problems, including serious issues such as heart attacks or strokes. Therefore, extra caution is needed, especially if there are existing cardiovascular diseases or risk factors. If symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, or slurred speech occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a doctor. This medication may cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as bleeding, ulcers, or perforation, with the risk being greater for older patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Immediate medical evaluation and treatment are required if gastrointestinal symptoms appear, and in severe cases, medication may need to be discontinued. This medication can cause severe skin reactions and allergic reactions; thus, use should be discontinued immediately if any abnormal skin symptoms occur. It may affect kidney function, so patients with kidney disease or impaired kidney function should be cautious. Liver function levels may temporarily rise, so those with liver disease or symptoms of liver dysfunction should consult a doctor. Women planning to become pregnant are advised not to use this medication, and it should especially not be administered during pregnancy. Individuals with a history of allergy to this medication or similar medications, those with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, severe liver or kidney disease patients, or patients with severe heart failure or high blood pressure should not use this medication. Older adults should take it cautiously at the minimum dosage due to possible impaired kidney and liver function, paying attention to adverse reactions. Drug interactions may occur, so it is essential to inform your doctor or pharmacist if taking anticoagulants, lithium, methotrexate, diuretics, or antihypertensives. If drowsiness, dizziness, or visual disturbances occur during use, individuals should avoid driving or operating machinery. Patients using this medication long-term require regular blood tests and liver and kidney function assessments, and should immediately consult a healthcare professional if abnormal symptoms arise. In overdose cases, gastric lavage and supportive treatment are necessary; as there is no antidote, emergency care must be sought. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and securely stored in its original container.
