Rio Can Cream (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25 to 0.66 grams (23 to 62 milligrams of lidocaine) as an ointment 5-15 minutes before intercourse. The dosage and application time vary from person to person and should use the minimum effective dose. Do not exceed 2 grams (184 milligrams of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This medication is an amide-type local anesthetic and should not be used if the user or their partner has an allergy to this medicine or similar drugs. Patients with wounds or inflammation on the application area should also refrain from using this medication. Furthermore, it is advisable not to administer this medication if the partner is pregnant. Patients with liver or kidney disease must use this medication with increased caution. This medication contains propylene glycol; patients with allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to this ingredient should use it carefully. If any rash or irritation occurs during use, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Long-term use without a doctor's instruction for more than three months should be avoided. This medication is intended for external use only and should not be applied to mucous membranes such as the eyes or nose. Repeatedly applying it to the same area is not recommended. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and stored away from high temperatures above 40 degrees, extremely low temperatures, and direct sunlight. Unused medication should not be burned but should be disposed of properly.

This medication may be sensitive to air and moisture; therefore, it should be stored in a sealed container. It is advisable to keep the storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature.
